I needed a dumpster for some remodeling work to dispose of debris like drywall, flooring, and appliances such as a microwave and dishwasher. A member of the community suggested this service. When I reached out to them, they responded promptly,…
Cowboy Site Services does light demolition in Frisco, TX, mostly kitchen and bath tear-outs ahead of a home's first real update. Sheds and above-ground pools come down too, quoted per job from photos with the haul-away included. Frisco is about 25 minutes from our base in McKinney.
The first big remodel, ten or fifteen years in
Much of Frisco is still young housing, so the big remodel tends to come at the ten- or fifteen-year mark. That's usually a kitchen or the primary bath. The finishes still work, but they look their age.
Before the fresh cabinets and tile go in, the builder-grade originals have to come out. Our kitchen tear-outs take the uppers, bases, island and tops, and we haul them off the same trip.
For the bath, bathroom demolition covers the vanity, mirror, tile and flooring. Your plumber handles the shutoffs and caps before we start.
Why not just set the old cabinets at the curb?
Frisco's trash rules make that harder than it sounds. Cabinets and countertops only count as large items when they're cut down to small, light sections, and remodeling waste is excluded from bulk pickup.
A full kitchen won't fit those limits, and tile isn't taken at all. That's where we pick up the slack, loading it straight from the room to the trailer.
Our Frisco bulk pickup guide has the city side in full if you're only clearing a few pieces. For a whole room, the trailer is the faster route.
Contractors and remodelers in Frisco
A lot of our Frisco work comes from the trades. Remodelers would rather keep their own crew on the build than on tear-out and dump runs.
Mark the line, tell us where the trailer can sit, and we'll work right to it. Nothing structural comes out on our end, and nothing that needs a machine.
Builders and remodelers also hand us the debris they've already pulled. Drywall, cut lumber and torn-out flooring stacked in a garage can be hauled as a load, priced by trailer space.
How is a Frisco tear-out priced?
Each tear-out is quoted on its own, since a powder-room vanity and a full kitchen with an island are different days. Room count, countertop material and how far we carry everything set most of the price.
Shoot every wall of the room with the cabinet doors open, then the hallway or garage we'd carry through. Note which appliances leave with the cabinets.
You get an honest estimate up front and a firm number before demolition starts. Nothing gets added once you say go, and you pay only when the room is empty and swept clean.
Backyards: playsets, sheds and pools
The family neighborhoods keep us busy with backyard resets. Wooden playsets the kids have outgrown, a shed with a rotted floor, or an above-ground pool that's done.
Pools are above-ground only. Our Frisco above-ground pool page walks through draining, the liner and the frame.
Trampolines, hoops and swing sets often go on the same visit as a shed. Add them to your photos so the quote covers the whole backyard reset.

Frisco's permit language, on its permit applications page, names removal and demolition outright. Its fee schedule even has a line for pool demolition, so ask the city how it applies to an above-ground pool.
Where a city requires a permit, it's usually pulled by the general contractor or the homeowner. If one is needed and nobody else is pulling it, we can usually pull it ourselves for an added fee that varies by city. Our demolition permits guide covers the wider picture, and our light demolition service handles the tear-out and haul-off.

Light Demolition in Frisco: questions
Can you demo a Frisco kitchen while we're still living in the house?
Yes, most of our kitchen jobs are in lived-in homes. We carry everything out through the shortest path and sweep as we go. Clear the counters and cabinets the night before, and set aside anything you're keeping.
Can you take the old fridge and dishwasher with the cabinets?
Yes, on the same trailer. We unhook standard plug-in and water-line connections. Anything hard-plumbed into gas needs a plumber to disconnect it before we arrive.
Does Frisco need a permit to take out a shed?
Frisco's permit rule names structures being removed or demolished, so assume the question needs asking. Check with the city before teardown day, and we'll work to whatever the permit says.
