Prompt, Polite, and Professional. Mike & Daniel did a great job and were a huge help. We had numerous piles of assorted household and yard junk for them to remove and the grabbed it all in about half an hour.…
Cowboy Site Services hauls off brush, downed limbs, bagged leaves and storm debris in McKinney and across Collin and Grayson County. We pick it up from wherever it sits, with no bundling or bag limits. Pricing goes by trailer space, and a small pile can fit our Minimum Pickup tier, from $189.
Yard debris builds up faster than the city hauls it away. A storm drops limbs across the back fence, or a fall cleanup leaves bags of leaves lined up along the side of the house.
Then come the rules. Cut it to length, tie it in bundles, keep it under the weight limit, and wait for the right day.
Our yard debris clean up and removal is simple by comparison. We load what's there, loose or bagged, and haul it off in one visit. Whether you call it yard waste removal, lawn waste removal or a brush haul, the job is the same.
We skip all of that. Send photos for a quote, pick a time, and we haul it off and sweep up.
What we can't take
Hazardous material stays off our trailer, and so do tires. Everything else is usually fine — text a photo if you're not sure.
- Wet paint and chemicals
- Motor oil
- Asbestos
- Ammunition
- Tires
- We're a hauler, not a lawn service. We don't rake, mow, trim or cut down trees.
- Big brush clearing or tree jobs that need a machine are quoted with rented or subcontracted equipment, and never same-day.
- Yard and garden chemicals, pesticides and fuel can't ride along on the trailer.
Where your stuff goes
Scrap metal from the pile gets pulled for recycling. Brush, limbs, leaves and the rest of the load are disposed of properly.
Swept before we pull out
Loading the trailer isn't the end of the job. We sweep the floor, slab or driveway before we leave, so the space is ready to use that day. You pay once you've looked it over.
Fall cleanup and leaf removal in McKinney
Fall in McKinney means leaves, and lots of them. Whoever does the raking, the bags still have to go somewhere.
That's where we come in. We haul bagged leaves, pulled plants, trimmed branches and the rest of the fall cleanup pile in one trip.
To be clear, we don't rake, blow or mow. Rake it up yourself or have your lawn crew do it, and we'll take it from there.
Storm debris and downed limbs
North Texas storms can drop a lot of wood in one night. We load downed limbs, broken branches and storm debris and haul them off.
Limbs that are already on the ground are truck-and-trailer work. A tree that still needs cutting, or a large clearing job, is different, because it needs a machine.
For those, we rent or subcontract the right equipment and quote it with the gear on the ticket. We won't promise same-day on a job that needs equipment we have to go get. Our post on storm debris cleanup in Collin County covers what to do first.
How does city brush pickup compare?
Most cities around here pick up brush, but with rules. Branches usually have to be cut to length, tied in bundles and kept under a weight limit, on the city's schedule.
In McKinney, for example, the city's residential trash page says yard waste is collected weekly with no scheduling. Limbs must be cut to 4-foot lengths and be no more than 6 inches in diameter.
McKinney bundles must weigh 50 pounds or less and be tied with string or twine. Leaves go out in brown paper bags, and the weekly limit is 10 bags or bundles total.
Its bulky item collection also excludes bagged yard waste. Allen's bulk collection excludes tree limbs, trunks and yard trimmings, per Allen's bulk item page.
When is a brush removal service worth it?
City pickup works well for a few bundles a week. Hiring a hauler makes sense when the pile is bigger than the city's limits or you don't want to cut and tie it all.
It also helps when you need it gone before a showing, a party or a fence install. We take loose brush, big limbs and the bags all at once.
One example from our own work: a yard pickup for a client in McKinney. Small or large, it gets loaded and hauled the same way.
If an old fence or shed is part of the yard project, we can tear that out too. See our fence removal and shed removal pages, both quoted per job.

Common questions
How much does yard debris removal cost?
It goes by trailer space. A small pile can be a Minimum Pickup from $189, and a decent pile out back is roughly a Half Trailer Load from $515. Photos are the fastest way to a number.
Do I have to bundle or bag the brush?
No. Loose brush, limbs and piles are fine. If your leaves are already bagged, we'll take the bags as they are.
Do you rake leaves or mow?
No. We're a hauler, not a lawn service. We haul bagged leaves and fall cleanup debris once it's gathered up.
Can you haul off tree limbs after a storm?
Yes. Limbs on the ground are a big part of this work. If a downed tree still needs cutting, that's an equipment job, and we quote it with the right machine on the ticket.
Do you serve towns outside McKinney?
Can you take household junk and yard junk together?
Yes. Piles of household and yard junk load onto the same trailer in one visit. It all prices by how much room it takes, so there's no need to split it into separate jobs.
