I needed a dumpster for some remodeling work to dispose of debris like drywall, flooring, and appliances such as a microwave and dishwasher. A member of the community suggested this service. When I reached out to them, they responded promptly,…
Cowboy Site Services does light demolition in Allen, TX: kitchen and bath tear-outs, worn decks, fence runs and small sheds. Each job is quoted from your photos, with the tear-out and the haul-off priced together. Allen is about 15 minutes down US-75 from our base in McKinney.
Why do so many Allen remodels start with us?
Most of Allen went up through the 1990s and 2000s. Those houses have had one or two decades of the same family in them, and the kitchens and baths are where it shows.
Before the cabinet crew or tile setter shows up, the old rooms have to be emptied down to the studs you want kept. We pull the kitchen cabinets and countertops, lift out a vanity, chip up tile and carry it to the trailer.
We don't install anything, and we don't touch the plumbing or wiring. Your plumber or electrician handles disconnects, then we clear the room and sweep it.
What else comes down in Allen backyards?
Out back, the calls are about wood that's done. Gray decking with soft spots, a fence leaning along the alley, a shed from the original build with a sagging door.
Each of these leaves a pile the city won't pick up, which is the whole reason to hand it off. We tear it down, load as we go and leave with every board.
- Deck tear-outs: boards, joists and the posts we can reach
- Fence panels, pickets and rails along a side or rear yard
- Small wood or metal sheds, along with whatever's stored inside
- Weathered pergolas, arbors and old playsets
Homeowner or remodeler, the day looks the same
Some Allen calls come straight from the owner, who wants the old room gone before choosing finishes. Others come from a remodeler who would rather keep their own crew on the build.
Either way, we work to the line you give us. Tape off what stays, tell us where the trailer can sit, and we take it from there.
Nothing structural comes out on our watch. If a wall between the kitchen and living room might be load-bearing, an engineer or general contractor needs to look first.
Who handles the permit side in Allen?
Where a city requires a permit, it's usually pulled by the general contractor or the homeowner. If one is needed and nobody else is pulling it, we can usually pull it ourselves for an added fee that varies by city.
Our permit guide for Collin and Grayson towns walks through how each city handles it. If your remodeler already has the paperwork going, we simply work inside their plan.
Photos that make an Allen quote easy
For a kitchen, open the cabinet doors and shoot each wall, plus the countertop edge so we can tell laminate from stone. For a bath, get the vanity, the floor and the shower walls.
Outside, stand back far enough to show the whole deck or fence run, then take one shot of the gate. That gate width decides how we carry things out.
You get an honest estimate up front and a firm price before anything comes down. You pay at the end, once you're satisfied.

Light Demolition in Allen: questions
Can you gut just one bathroom in an Allen house?
Yes, a single bath is a common job for us. The vanity, mirror, tile and flooring come out and leave on the same trip. Have your plumber cap the lines first.
Can you leave the countertops for my installer to remove?
Sure. Tell us which pieces stay when you send photos, and we'll mark them before we start. We only take what you point at.
My fence is shared with a neighbor. Can you still pull it?
We can, once the two of you agree it's coming out. Let us know which side we can work from, and we'll keep the debris off their yard. Replacing it is up to your fence builder.
