Straight Talk on Cost
Know the range before we roll
We price by how much room your load takes up on the trailer. Nothing else. Pick a size below and watch it fill.
Cowboy Site Services prices junk removal in McKinney and across Collin and Grayson County by trailer space. A Minimum Pickup starts at $189, a Half Trailer Load at $515 and a Full Trailer Load at $759. Labor and disposal are included, and the firm quote is set on site before anything is loaded.

What the number covers
- All the labor — we do the carrying
- Loading from any room, any floor, or the yard
- Sweeping the spot down before we pull out
- Disposal, donation runs, and recycling
What never shows up on it
- No fuel surcharge
- No labor add-on
- Nothing tacked on at the end
Demolition is quoted per job
A shed teardown and a bathroom gut aren't the same work, so we don't publish one number for both. Send photos and we'll quote the tear-out and the haul-off together.
About our light demolitionWhat we can't take at any price
- Wet paint and chemicals
- Motor oil
- Asbestos
- Ammunition
- Tires
What changes the price?
Mostly, it's volume. You're paying for the share of the trailer your load fills, from a few items up to a full load.
Weight and access can change things too, and heavy material or a tight spot to carry from can shift the number. That's why we confirm it once we're looking at the job.
Labor is part of the price, not a line item. Carrying from an attic, a back bedroom or the far corner of the yard is what you're paying us for.
- How much room the load takes on the trailer
- How heavy the material is
- How easy it is to get to and carry out
- No separate labor charge, ever
How do photo quotes work?
Snap a few pictures of what needs to go and text them over. Wide shots help, and something in the frame for scale helps even more.
We'll send back an honest estimate up front, usually as a range. It's free, and it doesn't commit you to anything.
Our post on getting a quote from a few photos walks through what to shoot and what we look for.
Can the price change once you start?
No. When we arrive, we look the job over and give you a firm quote before a single item goes on the trailer.
If you say go, that's the number. It doesn't change after you give us the go-ahead.
If the job turns out different from the photos, you hear about it before loading starts. You can say yes, trim the list, or pass.
Are there any surcharges?
There's no fuel surcharge and no labor add-on. There's also no distance surcharge anywhere in our service area.
That holds whether the job is around the corner in McKinney or out in Grayson County. You can check the full list of towns on our service areas page.
One all-in figure covers the carrying, loading, hauling and sweep-up.
How is demolition priced?
Demolition is quoted per job. Tearing down a shed and gutting a bathroom are different work, so one published number wouldn't be honest.
Send photos and we'll quote the tear-out and the haul-off together. Our light demolition page covers what we take on and what we don't.
If the material is already pulled and stacked, hauling it off is priced by trailer space like any other load.
When do I pay?
At the end. Payment comes once the load is gone and you're satisfied with how the spot looks.
Nothing is due up front. We'll go over which payment methods we take when we set your appointment.
Is a junk removal crew cheaper than a dumpster?
It depends on the job. A dumpster sits in your driveway and you do the loading, while we do the loading and leave the same day.
For a long remodel where debris piles up over weeks, a dumpster can make sense. For a cleanout you want done in one visit, a crew usually fits better.
Our side-by-side guide on hauling crews versus dumpster rental lays out the tradeoffs.
Where can I see a full breakdown of costs?
If you're budgeting a bigger job, our McKinney junk removal cost guide goes deeper. It covers how load sizes map to real jobs and how to keep the bill down.
The short version is simple. Send photos for a quote, pick a time, and we haul it off and sweep up.
How estimates and the confirmed quote work is also set out in our terms of service. Photos you text us for a quote are handled under our privacy policy. Still deciding? Read the common questions.
