These guys are good. Not only did they do a perfect job but also their knowledge on building materials and how to disassemble my built in grill was quite impressive. Unbelievably friendly. Unbelievably professional. Unbelievably worth it. If you need…

Interior Demolition in McKinney & Collin County, TX
Cowboy Site Services does interior demolition in McKinney and across Collin and Grayson County. We tear out cabinets, vanities, countertops, flooring, drywall and closets, then haul it all off on the same trip. Each job is quoted per job from your photos, and we don't touch anything structural.
A remodel can't start until the old stuff is out. Cabinets come off the walls, tile comes up, and a room's worth of debris has to leave the house. That tear-out is slow, heavy and messy, and it's the part most people dread.
That's where we come in. We do the tear-out and the haul-off on the same trip, so the debris never sits in your garage or driveway. You get one crew, one quote and one invoice.
We keep it to light interior work, and we're clear about where that line is. Anything structural is outside what we do, and we'll tell you when we look at the photos.

What we can't take
Hazardous material stays off our trailer, and so do tires. Everything else is usually fine — text a photo if you're not sure.
- Wet paint and chemicals
- Motor oil
- Asbestos
- Ammunition
- Tires
- Load-bearing walls and anything else structural
- Work that needs an engineer or heavy machinery
- Electrical, plumbing and gas disconnects. The right trade does those first.
- Commercial interior demolition
- Installing cabinets, tile or fixtures afterward
Where your stuff goes
Clean metal, like old appliances, hardware and fixtures, gets pulled for recycling. Cabinets or fixtures still in usable shape can go to area charities. Broken drywall, tile and mixed debris go to the landfill the proper way.
Swept before we pull out
Loading the trailer isn't the end of the job. We sweep the floor, slab or driveway before we leave, so the space is ready to use that day. You pay once you've looked it over.
What does interior demolition cover?
Interior demo is the tear-out before the remodel. It's the finishes and fixtures that come out so the remodel can go in. Most of our jobs start in a kitchen or a bathroom.
A kitchen cabinet tear-out is mostly cabinets and tops, plus the appliances if they're going. A bathroom gut is vanities, tile and drywall. Flooring, carpet and drywall can come out of any room.
Drywall comes off in pieces, nails and screws still in it. Carpet comes up with the pad and tack strip. We load as we go, so the rest of the house stays walkable.
Can you take out a wall in Frisco or McKinney?
We can strip drywall and take out a non-structural partition wall. That covers a lot of wall-removal jobs, like opening up a closet or clearing a framed divider. We do that work in Frisco, McKinney and across Collin County.
A load-bearing wall is a different job. It's structural, it usually needs an engineer, and it's not ours. If a wall looks structural in your photos, we'll say so straight before you book.
If you aren't sure what a wall is holding up, don't guess. Get an engineer or an experienced general contractor to look at it first.
Closet demo and other small tear-outs
Not every job is a full room. One job we posted was a client's closet demo that had to be done before a remodel. The shelving and build-out came out and left on the trailer.
Small jobs are welcome. A single vanity, one wall of cabinets or a strip of old flooring all get the same care.
We're careful with what stays. Tell us what can't get scratched, and we'll work around it.
How do I get ready for interior demo?
A little prep keeps the day simple. Our guide to interior demolition before a remodel goes deeper, but here's the short list.
- Mark where the tear-out stops and what stays.
- Empty the cabinets, closets and drawers.
- Have water shut off and lines capped by a plumber where needed.
- Anything hard-plumbed into gas needs a licensed plumber to disconnect first.
- Point out outlets and switches in walls that are coming open.
- Clear a path from the room to the driveway.
Do you do tear-out for contractors?
Yes. Plenty of remodelers would rather not tie up their own crew on demo. Tell us where the demo stops and what has to stay in place.
We work to that line and haul everything off the same day. Your crew walks into a swept, empty room ready for the next step.
Homeowners running their own remodel use us the same way. You handle the build, and we clear the way before it starts.

- 01
Send photos for a quote

- 02
Pick a time
Choose a time that works for you. Same-day service is often possible when the schedule has room.
- 03
We haul it off and sweep up
We confirm a firm price before anything is loaded. Then we carry it out, haul it off and sweep the spot.
Prefer a form? You can request a quote online and attach photos there.
“I especially loved that I was able to just send photos of my items and get a quote instantly vs the companies that want to “come see the stuff” before giving an estimate.”
How interior demolition is priced
Interior demolition is quoted per job, because one vanity and a full kitchen aren't the same work. Send photos of each room, what's coming out and what's staying. We'll give you an honest estimate up front, with the tear-out and the haul-off quoted together.
The price is firm before any work starts, and you pay at the end once you're satisfied. Already did the tear-out yourself? That pile can be priced as a haul-off load of remodel debris, by trailer space.
A shed teardown and a bathroom gut aren't the same work, so we don't publish one number for both. Send photos and we'll quote the tear-out and the haul-off together.Debris you've already torn out and stacked is priced as a haul-off load:
Minimum Pickup
from$189
A handful of items already set out and easy to reach.
Half Trailer Load
from$515
One emptied room, a stuffed garage bay, or a decent pile out back.
Full Trailer Load
from$759
Full cleanouts, big moves, estate jobs, and heavy remodel debris.

Common questions
How much does interior demolition cost?
We quote it per job instead of publishing a number. What's coming out, how many rooms, and the path to the driveway all change the work. Send photos and you'll get one price for the tear-out and the haul-off.
Do I need a permit for interior demolition?
Each city sets its own rules, so check with yours. Where a city requires a permit, it's usually pulled by the general contractor or the homeowner. If one is needed and nobody else is pulling it, we can usually pull it ourselves for an added fee that varies by city.
Will you take the old appliances too?
Yes, on the same trailer. We unhook standard plug-in and water-line connections. Anything hard-plumbed into gas needs a licensed plumber to disconnect first.
What if you find something structural once a wall is open?
We stop and tell you. Anything structural, or anything that needs an engineer, is outside what we do. We'd rather say so than guess.
Do you do other kinds of demolition?
Yes, all of it light. Sheds, decks, fences and backyard structures are covered on our light demolition page. We don't do whole-building or structural demolition.
