Gunter sits where State Highway 289 — Preston Road, this far up — crosses FM 121, about twelve miles southwest of Sherman. It's a small town on the north end of the Preston corridor, and the growth pushing up from Celina and Prosper is starting to reach it.

It's roughly half an hour from the shop, and we typically run it on the same day as something else up that way.

Gunter is acreage work. Barns, sheds, and outbuildings that have reached the end, old fence lines, brush and limbs, and scrap that's collected on a place over decades. We take it down and take it away on the same trip.
