Junk Removal & Hauling in Collin & Grayson County, TX
Cowboy Site Services is a Veteran-owned junk removal and hauling company based in McKinney, serving Collin and Grayson County. We carry out anything from one old item to a full 14-foot trailer load, from wherever it sits. Pricing starts at $189 and goes by how much room your load takes on the trailer.
Junk has a way of staying put. The couch nobody sits on, the boxes from the last move, the pile behind the shed. It isn't that you don't want it gone, it's that getting rid of it means a truck, a helper and a free Saturday.
That's the part we take off your plate. You point at what needs to go, and we do the lifting, the loading and the hauling. You deal with the owners, not a call center.
We're a local junk hauling company with one truck and a 14-foot dump trailer, and we're insured. Send photos for a quote, pick a time, and we haul it off and sweep up.
What we can't take
Hazardous material stays off our trailer, and so do tires. Everything else is usually fine — text a photo if you're not sure.
- Wet paint and chemicals
- Motor oil
- Asbestos
- Ammunition
- Tires
- Anything hazardous we find mixed into a pile stays where it is. When in doubt, text a picture first.
- Items that are part of the house, like cabinets or a deck, need tear-out first. That's light demolition, quoted per job.
- Big brush or land clearing that needs a machine isn't a truck-and-trailer job, so we quote it with the equipment on the ticket.
Where your stuff goes
We keep as much out of the landfill as we can. Anything still usable goes to area charities, while metal, electronics and cardboard get pulled for recycling. Whatever's left is disposed of properly.
Swept before we pull out
Loading the trailer isn't the end of the job. We sweep the floor, slab or driveway before we leave, so the space is ready to use that day. You pay once you've looked it over.
What does full-service junk removal mean?
It means you don't move anything. Upstairs bedroom, back of the garage, attic, storage unit or the far corner of the yard, carrying it out is our job.
You walk us through what goes and what stays. We set aside anything you're keeping, load the rest, and sweep the spot before we pull out. That broom-swept finish is part of every job, not an upgrade.
Plenty of folks search for a junk hauler expecting to drag it all to the curb first. You can if you want, but you don't have to. Curbside or carry-out, the price is set by trailer space, not by how far we walk it.
From one item to a whole trailer load
General junk removal covers a wide range. Some calls are one old item, like a treadmill that quit or a mattress in the garage. Others are a whole house worth of stuff after an estate sale.
Same crew, same trailer, same way of quoting it. A single piece is a normal job for us, and we're glad to take it.
Bigger jobs get their own pages if you want the details:
- Couch, dresser and bedroom set removal for furniture-only jobs
- Old fridge, washer or water heater haul-off with the unhooking handled
- Garage and attic cleanouts when you can't park in there anymore
- Whole-house cleanouts for estates, rentals and storage units
Can you haul away junk the same day?
Same-day service is available when the schedule allows. It comes down to what's already on the board that day.
Your best shot is to reach out early in the day and send photos with your message. That lets us size the load and tell you straight whether we can fit it in.
We work Monday through Saturday, 9 to 6, and we're closed Sunday. If today doesn't work, we'll find a time that does.
How does a junk removal job go, start to finish?
First, send photos for a quote. A few pictures tell us how much trailer space the load will take. You get an honest estimate up front.
Second, pick a time. When we get there, we confirm a firm quote before anything is loaded. That number doesn't change after you say go.
Third, we haul it off and sweep up. You pay at the end, once it's gone and you're happy with how the spot looks.
What won't a junk removal service take?
Nearly everything is fine. The exceptions are wet paint and chemicals, motor oil, asbestos, ammunition and tires.
Those have their own disposal routes, and our guide to what junk removal won't take explains each one. For paint, chemicals and oil, start with the household hazardous waste options in Collin County.

Common questions
How much does junk removal cost?
It depends on how much room your load takes on the trailer. A Minimum Pickup starts at $189, a Half Trailer Load at $515 and a Full Trailer Load at $759. Send a photo and we'll tell you which tier fits, then confirm the firm quote before we load.
Do I have to bring everything to the curb?
No. That's what you're paying us for. Second floor, back of the garage, out in the yard or up in the attic, our crew does the carrying.
Will you take just one item?
Yes. One couch, one fridge or one old mattress is a normal job, and it usually fits the Minimum Pickup tier from $189.
Do you charge by the cubic yard?
No. We price by how full the trailer gets: a minimum pickup, half a trailer or a full one. Weight and access can change things, which is why the firm quote is set on site before anything moves.
Do you haul trash bags and loose junk too?
Yes. Bagged trash, loose clutter and mixed piles all load the same way. If you're clearing out before a move, our moving-out junk removal plan helps you sort what goes first.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in McKinney and work across Collin County and Grayson County. That includes Allen, Frisco, Plano, Celina, Prosper, Sherman and the towns around them.
