What we can't take
Hazardous material stays off our trailer, and so do tires. Everything else is usually fine — text a photo if you're not sure.

- We don't disconnect gas lines. Anything hard-plumbed into gas needs a plumber to disconnect it before we arrive.

Where your stuff goes
Appliances are mostly metal, so they get pulled for recycling instead of dumped. Anything that can't be recycled is disposed of properly.
Swept before we pull out
Loading the trailer isn't the end of the job. We sweep the floor, slab or driveway before we leave, so the space is ready to use that day. You pay once you've looked it over.
Do you unhook the appliance, or do I?
We do, for standard plug-in and water-line connections. That covers most fridges with an ice maker line, washing machines, electric dryers and dishwashers.
Gas is the exception. A gas dryer, range or water heater that's hard-plumbed into a gas line needs a plumber to disconnect it first.
If you're not sure which you have, send a photo of the back or the hookups. We'll tell you straight before we touch anything.
Can you haul away a washing machine and dryer together?
Yes, and it's one of the most common appliance calls we get. We shut the water, pull the hoses, unplug the pair and walk them out together.
A washer that hasn't drained can be heavier than it looks, so let us know if it quit mid-cycle. A matched pair usually still fits the Minimum Pickup tier.
Replacing the set and short on time? We can haul away the washing machine before the delivery so the laundry room is clear.
Where can you haul old appliances away?
You have a few options, and each has its own rules. Some cities pick up appliances on bulk day, often with conditions on fridges and freezers. Others send you to a drop-off site or a scheduled metal pickup.

How do you get a fridge or water heater out without damage?
We look at the path out first and measure the tight spots. Fridge doors come off when a doorway is close, and we take care with corners and floors the whole way.
Water heaters are usually tucked into a closet, attic or garage corner. We strap it to a dolly for the walk out.
Heavy, awkward items like these are why people call us instead of a friend with a truck. Getting it out clean is part of the job.
Appliances out of rentals, remodels and garages

What does appliance removal cost?
One appliance out of the garage is usually a Minimum Pickup, from $189. More appliances take more room on the trailer, so the tier goes up from there. We confirm the firm quote before anything moves.
Do I have to disconnect my washer and dryer first?
Not for standard plug-in and water-line connections. We handle those. A gas dryer needs a plumber to disconnect the gas line first.
Will the city pick up an old appliance?
Some cities will, with conditions, and the rules differ from town to town. Check the bulk trash rules across Collin County before you set it out. If it doesn't qualify, or you'd rather not move it, we can take it from where it sits.
Do I need to empty the fridge?
Yes, please empty out the food. Unplugging it a day early lets the freezer defrost, which keeps water off your floors on the way out.
Can you take an appliance the same day?
Same-day service is available when the schedule allows. Send a photo early in the day for the best shot at it.
What happens if the appliance won't fit through the door?
We work it out before anything gets forced. Doors come off fridges, and we'll take another route out of the house if there is one. Send a photo of the path out and we'll plan for it.
