What do we do in Grayson County?

Up here, the work splits two ways. In town, it's furniture, appliances, move-outs and estate and rental cleanouts.

On acreage, it's brush, scrap and small structures that need to come down. Our light demolition work covers sheds, fences and decks, nothing structural, and each job is quoted per job.

Each town page shows exactly which services we offer there.

Which Grayson County towns do we serve?

Sherman and Denison are the largest, and they sit at the far end of our range. Van Alstyne, Howe and Gunter are closer, roughly 25 to 30 minutes from McKinney.

Van Alstyne crosses a county line, and we serve the whole town either way. The farther north you are, the more it helps to book a few days out.

South of the line, our Collin County page lists McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Allen and the rest.

Where does household hazardous waste go in Grayson County?

We don't haul wet paint, chemicals or motor oil, so those need a city program. The only Grayson County entry on TCEQ's HHW contacts list is a home-collection pickup for Van Alstyne.

There, CWD runs a monthly door-side program that you call about two weeks ahead. Sherman's Solid Waste page describes an annual TCOG collection event, with registration required.

That event takes leftover paint, used motor oil, gasoline, antifreeze, cleaners and pesticides.

Where can you drop off a load in Grayson County?

WM's Hillside Landfill at 1102 Nelson Rd in Sherman has public disposal hours Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It accepts construction and demolition debris and is closed on weekends.

Sherman and Denison each run a city drop-off site that asks for ID and a water bill. Our Sherman and Denison pickup guide covers both.

If a weekday landfill run doesn't fit your schedule, we'll load it and take it for you.
