Fairview's residential building permit application includes Residential Demo as a work type. Applications go in by email to Permits@FairviewTexas.org or at Town Hall, and the Town allows 7 to 10 business days to process them.
Decks have their own rule. The Town's permits page lists decks among work needing a permit, though a 2024 code amendment exempts some small, low decks.
The general contractor or the homeowner typically pulls any permit the Town requires. If one's needed and nobody else is on it, we can usually pull it ourselves for an added fee that varies by city.
Should you wait on curbside pickup or hire a hauler?
