Cowboy Site Services made my junk removal so quick and easy. I especially loved that I was able to just send photos of my items and get a quote instantly vs the companies that want to “come see the stuff”…
Cowboy Site Services hauls away refrigerators, freezers, window air conditioners, washers, dryers and water heaters in Anna, TX. Anna's curbside hauler needs proof of freon removal before it takes a fridge, freezer or AC unit, but we don't ask you for that. One appliance usually fits our Minimum Pickup tier, from $189.
The freon problem with Anna's bulk week
Washers, dryers and drained water heaters can go out with Anna's monthly bulk pickup. Cooling appliances are a different story.
A fridge, freezer or window AC unit has refrigerant in it. Anna's hauler wants proof that it's been evacuated, checked before collection day, and most homeowners have no easy way to get that.
That's where we help. We carry the unit out as it stands and take it from there, so it doesn't sit by the garage for months.
If you'd rather try the city route, start the freon paperwork well before your bulk week. If the proof isn't verified in time, the unit stays put for another month.
Chest freezers and spare fridges on older properties
Anna's older rural homes often have a second fridge on the back porch or a chest freezer out in the shop. When a place like that is being cleared to sell, those come out first.
Chest freezers are heavy and awkward, and many have been sitting unplugged for a while. Prop the lid open a few days ahead if you can, and we'll handle the rest.
We can take a whole row of dead appliances in one trip. A load like that is priced by trailer space, not by the piece.
Swapping out a laundry pair in Anna's subdivisions
In Anna's neighborhoods, the usual call is a laundry pair that's being replaced. We shut the water, pull the hoses, unplug the set and walk them out together.
If the replacement is coming on a set day, book us a day or two before so the laundry room is clear for delivery.
How we get it out without scuffing the house
Before lifting anything, we look at the path from the appliance to the door. Tight doorways get measured, and fridge doors come off when it's close.
Water heaters and freezers ride out strapped to a dolly. We go slow on corners, thresholds and the garage step.
Moving an appliance yourself means a helper, a dolly and a truck. Send photos, pick a time, and we haul it off and sweep up instead.
Gas hookups and what we disconnect
Standard plug-in and water-line connections are part of the job. A gas dryer, range or water heater that's hard-plumbed into a gas line needs a licensed plumber to disconnect it first.
Send a photo of the hookup if you're unsure, and we'll tell you before the visit. Our main appliance pickup service page explains the rest.
