Prompt, Polite, and Professional. Mike & Daniel did a great job and were a huge help. We had numerous piles of assorted household and yard junk for them to remove and the grabbed it all in about half an hour.…
Cowboy Site Services hauls brush, cut limbs, bagged leaves and landscape leftovers from Frisco yards, with no bundle length or weight rules to follow. We're about 25 minutes from our McKinney base. Pricing goes by trailer space, with a firm quote confirmed before we load.
A cut-down tree can't sit in Frisco
Frisco doesn't have a program to remove whole trees or large sections of them. The city also treats a cut tree left on your lot or the street as a code violation.
So once a tree is down, the clock is running. If it's already cut into pieces on the ground, we can load it and haul it off.
We don't fell standing trees. A job that needs cutting or a machine uses rented or subcontracted equipment, and it's never same-day.
When a storm drops limbs across a street, Frisco asks residents to report it through the myFRISCO app. Limbs inside your own fence are yours to clear.
We load limbs that are already down and haul them off in one trip. A tree still hanging or leaning needs a tree service first.
Ten bundles a week, three feet long
Frisco's weekly yard waste pickup works for routine trimming. Limbs get cut to three feet, tied with compostable twine and kept light, and there's a weekly cap on bags and bundles.
A big pruning day can produce several weeks' worth. Cutting and tying all of it takes longer than the pruning did.
We take the pile loose, long limbs and all. Our main yard debris removal page covers what else rides along.
- Limbs longer than three feet
- Bundles that top the weight limit
- More bags than the weekly cap allows
- Branches tied with plastic rope instead of compostable twine
Leftovers from a landscape redo
Frisco yards are young, and many are getting their first landscape overhaul. That work leaves things the yard crew won't load:
- Root balls from shrubs that got pulled
- Old mulch, soil and sod from reworked beds
- Pallets left from a stone or paver delivery
- Old fence boards and broken edging
- Bags of rock and old landscape timbers
Taking brush to the transfer station yourself
Frisco residents get two free transfer-station drop-offs a month with a matching water bill and license. Every load has to be covered, or it gets turned away, as the city's do-it-yourself page explains.
A tarp over a truck bed of limbs is doable. A trailer full of root balls and mulch is another story, and that's where we come in.
Bring both documents, and tie the tarp down tight before you pull out.
What we leave to the landscaper
We're a hauler, not a lawn service. We don't rake, mow, trim or grind stumps.
Rake the leaves up and bag them, or stack the trimmings, and we'll take it from there. If an old fence is coming out too, fence removal can be quoted in the same visit.
Bagged clippings, loose leaves and long limbs can all share one trailer. You don't have to separate them.

Frisco's residential yard waste page covers routine bags and bundles well. It stops at whole trees, stumps, root balls, soil, mulch, pallets and fencing. Whole trees are left to the homeowner.
Those are exactly what a storm or a landscape project leaves. We fill that gap with one load and no cutting to length. See our Frisco bulk and brush guide for the city schedule.

Yard Debris Removal in Frisco: questions
A tree crew cut our tree but left the wood. Can you haul it?
Yes, as long as it's cut into pieces we can lift. Heavy trunk rounds are quoted after we see photos. Ask the crew first, since many include haul-off in their bid.
Do you take root balls and old mulch from Frisco yards?
Yes. Both are heavy, so send photos of the pile with something for scale. Soil and sod are priced the same way.
Do you also clear yard debris in Prosper?
We do. Our Prosper yard debris page covers that town, and the Frisco service area page lists what else we haul here.
