An honest and transparent company to work with. I had a rather unusual task of reorganizing my shop and tooling, as well as moving debris and junk in the process. I plan on doing business again with these guys real soon.
Cowboy Site Services handles light demolition across Celina, TX, from fence lines and outbuildings on older acreage to patios and pergolas in the subdivisions. Every job gets its own quote from your photos, covering the tear-out and the trip to haul it away. Celina is about 25 minutes from our base in McKinney.
Two kinds of Celina tear-out
Celina is really two towns at once. Rooftops keep spreading along the Preston Road corridor, while the older properties and acreage were here long before them.
On the older side, it's fence lines being pulled and outbuildings that have aged out. When a place is changing hands, decades of equipment and scrap often come off with them.
In the subdivisions, the work is smaller and tighter. Think a shade structure the owners have outgrown, a cracked patio slab, or a backyard set the kids have aged past.
Why does Celina take more planning than most towns?
Celina spells its demolition rules out in more detail than most cities we serve. The city's When Is a Building Permit Required page says all demolition work needs a permit.
The full list from the demolition packet sits below. In practice, it means the paperwork, the HOA letter and any utility cap-offs get sorted before we put a date on the calendar.
Where a city requires a permit, it's usually pulled by the general contractor or the homeowner. If one is needed and nobody else is pulling it, we can usually pull it ourselves for an added fee that varies by city.
How our same-trip haul-off fits Celina's debris rules
Celina wants construction debris gathered and removed at the end of each work day, or ahead of rain. It also wants room left for waste vehicles to get in.
That lines up with how we already work. We load as we tear out, so there's no pile sitting on the lawn overnight, and the trailer leaves when the crew does.
On a bigger outbuilding that runs past one day, we clear what came down before we go.
Fence lines, barns and flatwork
Long rural runs are a regular Celina call, whether it's wood privacy panels or wire on old posts. Our fence removal service pulls panels, rails and the posts we can reach.
When a weathered shed or loafing shelter is coming down too, see barn and outbuilding demolition for what's in range. Anything that needs heavy equipment isn't ours to take on.
Patio and walkway slabs can come up as concrete removal, within reason. Celina's flatwork rules, listed below, matter mostly for whatever gets poured next.
What should you send for a Celina quote?
Start with wide shots of the structure or fence, then a couple of close-ups showing what it's built from. For acreage, add a photo of the gate or road access, since trailer reach drives a lot of the time on site.
Tell us whether power or water runs to anything coming down. Those lines need capping by the right trade before teardown, and Celina's packet expects that on the site plan.
You'll get an honest estimate up front, and the firm number before work begins. Payment happens at the end, after you've walked the cleared spot.

The Celina demolition packet covers who works on the job, the site plan and the debris. Read it before you set a date, and talk with your general contractor if you have one. Our guide to demolition permits in Collin and Grayson shows how Celina compares.
The city's trash program won't carry tear-out debris, as our Celina bulk pickup guide explains. That's where we come in, with light demolition and haul-off on one invoice. Acreage outside city limits goes through Collin County instead.
The full rundown is in our Celina bulk trash and brush pickup guide.
Light Demolition in Celina: questions
Can you pull an old fence line on Celina acreage before the land sells?
Yes, that's one of our more common Celina jobs. Send photos of a few stretches, the post type and how far it runs. We'll quote pulling it and hauling every piece.
My Celina HOA wants the old pergola gone. Can you handle it?
Yes. Check the demolition packet first, since it asks for an HOA letter when one applies. Once the paperwork is squared away, we take the pergola down and haul it off the same day.
Do you work on Celina job sites for builders?
Sometimes, when a builder needs something light torn out and gone. We work to the line they mark, and nothing structural is ours. For leftover packaging and offcuts, our haul-off service is the better fit.
