Cowboy Site Services removes couches, sectionals, recliners, dressers and full bedroom sets from Allen homes and carries them out of any room. We're about 15 minutes from our McKinney base and work Monday through Saturday. A couch and a couple of chairs usually fits our Minimum Pickup, from $189.
Downsizing and upgrading in Allen's first-owner houses
Allen has a lot of families who bought new in the 1990s and 2000s and never left. Now they're upgrading the living room or downsizing to something smaller.
Either way, the old furniture has to go first. That might be a formal dining set nobody uses, a leather sectional, or a guest bed from a room that's becoming an office.

Bulk Saturday or a pickup on your schedule
Allen's bulk crew comes once a month, on a Saturday set by your trash route. Miss it, and the couch waits another month in the garage.
Items also need to be at the curb by 7 a.m. That means dragging furniture out the night before and hoping for no rain.
We come on the day you pick, Monday through Saturday, and same-day pickup is possible when a slot is open.
Allen does let residents haul furniture to a disposal site themselves. You'll need a current city water bill and a matching driver's license.
The vehicle rules matter too, since box trucks and stake beds are turned away. If you don't own a pickup, our trailer is usually the simpler answer.
Mattresses and box springs from Allen bedrooms
Allen's bulk crew does take mattresses and box springs, as long as each piece stays under the weight cap. A king pillow-top with a split box spring is still a lot to drag to the curb by 7 a.m.
We pull the whole bed at once: frame, headboard, mattress and foundation. Nothing has to go outside the night before.
Adjustable bases with motors are heavy too. We take those apart where we can to get them down the stairs.
Pieces too heavy or long for the curb
Allen's bulk program has a weight cap and a rug length limit. Plenty of household pieces run past one or the other:
- Sleeper sofas with the steel frame still inside
- Solid-wood armoires, hutches and entertainment centers
- Sectionals that don't come apart cleanly
- Large area rugs from a living or dining room
- Treadmills and home gym frames
Usable pieces go to area charities when they can
When a piece is clean and sturdy, we try to get it donated instead of tossed. Charities set their own standards, so we can't promise a yes on any one item.

Allen's bulk item collection does take broken furniture and mattresses, on your route's Saturday. Residents can also haul pieces up to 8 feet long to a disposal site themselves.

Can you carry a sectional out of an upstairs bonus room?
Yes. We check the stair turn first and take off legs or split the sections where they come apart. Send a photo of the staircase with your quote request.
We're moving out of Allen. Can you clear several rooms at once?
