A photo quote means you text us pictures of what needs to go and get an honest estimate without waiting on a visit. Cowboy Site Services prices junk removal by how much trailer space the load takes. We confirm a firm price on site before loading, and it doesn't change after you say go.
Why do we quote from photos?
Nobody wants to take a morning off just so someone can look at a pile and name a number. Photos let you skip that step.
You send pictures from your phone whenever it suits you. We look at the load, ask any questions, and give you an honest estimate up front.
That way you know the likely price before you book. There's no pressure and no reason to wait around for a walk-through.
What should you photograph?
Good photos answer two questions: how much is there, and how hard is it to get out. These shots cover both.
- A wide shot of the whole pile or room. Step back to the doorway so we can see everything at once.
- Close-ups of the big items, like a couch, a fridge, a treadmill or a dresser.
- The path from the item to the driveway, including hallways, doorways and the yard.
- Any stairs, gates or tight turns along the way.
- Anything heavy, such as appliances, solid wood furniture or stacked building materials.
- A quick note telling us which floor and which room each item is in.
Why does the path to the driveway matter?
A couch on the ground floor by the front door is a quick carry. The same couch up a narrow staircase takes more planning and more hands.
A photo of the path shows us what we're walking through. It also tells us how to protect your walls and floors on the way out.
Backyard jobs work the same way. A narrow side gate or a long walk around the house changes how we load, so a picture of it helps.
Tips for photos that quote cleanly
You don't need a perfect shot. A few habits just make the estimate closer to the final price.
- Take photos in daylight or with the lights on.
- Put something familiar in the frame for scale, like a door or a car.
- Move anything you're keeping out of the shot, or tell us what stays.
- Open closets, cabinets and attic hatches if their contents are going too.
- Mention anything hidden behind the pile or stored in another room.
How do photos turn into a price?
We price by how much room the load takes on our 14-foot dump trailer. Your photos tell us roughly where the load lands.
A Minimum Pickup starts at $189 and covers a handful of items set out and easy to reach. A Half Trailer Load starts at $515, about one emptied room or a stuffed garage bay.
A Full Trailer Load starts at $759 and covers whole cleanouts and big moves. Our pricing page shows what fits in each tier.
What's included in that price?
The price covers the lifting, the loading, the hauling and the sweep-up. There's no fuel surcharge and no labor add-on.
There's no distance surcharge anywhere in our service area either. A load in Sherman is priced the same way as a load in McKinney.
If you want a deeper look at what moves the number, our guide to junk removal cost in McKinney walks through it.
What happens on the day?
When we arrive, we look at the load in person. Then we confirm a firm price before anything gets loaded.
If the pile turned out bigger or smaller than the photos showed, you hear it right then. Nothing moves until you agree to the number.
Once you say go, the price doesn't change. You pay at the end, once you're satisfied with the space.
Does a photo quote lock you in?
No. An estimate from photos is just that, an honest estimate. You can take it, think it over, or ask questions first.
Nothing is booked until you pick a time. Nothing is loaded until you agree to the firm price on site.
What should you mention in your text?
A few details help us plan the job and avoid surprises for either side.
- Your town and roughly where the items are on the property.
- Any deadline, like a closing date, a move-out or a lease turnover.
- Items you'd like donated instead of tossed, if they're in good shape.
- Anything on our can't-take list: wet paint and chemicals, motor oil, asbestos, ammunition or tires.
What about demolition jobs?
Photos help with tear-outs too, like a shed, a deck or old kitchen cabinets. Demolition is quoted per job, though, not by trailer tier.
That's because taking something apart is different work from loading it. Send photos of the whole structure and anything around it, and we'll quote the light demolition job.
Ready to send photos?
The plan is simple. Send photos for a quote, pick a time, and we haul it off and sweep up.
You can call or text from our contact page during business hours, Monday through Saturday. We offer same-day service when available.
