I had get rid of my couches. Cowboy Site Services save the day. They came and got them! Polite and did not scratch my walls or my door!! Nice job!!! I definitely using again!!!!
Cowboy Site Services carries couches, sectionals, mattresses, dressers and full bedroom sets out of Melissa, TX homes and hauls them away. You don't have to drag anything to the curb or wait for bulk Friday. A couch and a couple of chairs usually fits our Minimum Pickup tier, from $189.
The furniture that didn't fit the next room
A move into a Melissa subdivision often leaves one problem behind. The old sectional is too big for the living room, or the guest bed got replaced and the frame is in the garage.
Those pieces sit for months because they're heavy and nobody wants to rent a truck. We carry them out from upstairs, the back bedroom or wherever they ended up.
Our furniture pickup and haul-off service works the same for one recliner or a houseful.
Bulk Friday versus a scheduled pickup
Melissa's monthly bulk day is free, and for a light chair or two it works well. The limits show up with heavy pieces and bigger loads.
A solid wood dresser, a sleeper sofa or a stack of furniture from a whole room can run past what the city will take. Then the leftovers sit at the curb until next month.
With us, you pick the day, Monday through Saturday. We walk it out of the house, so there's nothing to stage at the street the night before.
What happens to pieces that are still good?
If a couch or table is clean and solid, we try to get it to area charities instead of the landfill. It doesn't cost you anything extra.
Charities turn down stains, tears, broken frames and most mattresses. Pieces that can't be reused are disposed of properly.

Furniture from the acreage side of town
Not every Melissa furniture job is in a subdivision. Older rural properties around town tend to have a workshop or a back porch where worn-out pieces pile up for years.
Porch swings, sun-faded patio sets, rotted wicker and old recliners all load the same way. We carry them out of the shop and haul them in one trip.
If the place is being cleared before it sells, mattresses and odds and ends can ride along. A bigger load is simply priced by how much of the trailer it fills.
Getting ready for the crew
Empty drawers and shelves of anything you're keeping. Tell us which pieces stay, especially in a room you share with a roommate or family member.
- Mention stairs or a tight hallway when you text photos.
- Leave room out front for a truck and a 14-foot trailer.
- Pull any cushions or rugs you want to keep from the pile.

Furniture is on the accepted list in the City of Melissa's bulk items guidelines. Each household gets a monthly volume cap, though, and single items over 150 pounds don't qualify. Everything has to be out by early morning on the right Friday.
Residents can also drive furniture to the landfill for free with the right paperwork. If you'd rather not carry a sleeper sofa down the stairs and into a pickup, that's where we step in. The Melissa bulk trash and brush pickup guide has the route-by-route dates.
