Cowboy Site Services clears garages in Melissa, TX, from the top shelf to the back corner, and sweeps the slab before we leave. You point at what stays, and we load the rest without boxing, weighing or a trip to the landfill. Most full garages land in our Half Trailer Load tier, from $515, or Full Trailer Load, from $759.
When the moving boxes never got unpacked
A lot of Melissa garages fill up on move-in day. Boxes get stacked against the wall, the old shelving comes along, and the car ends up in the driveway.
A year later, half those boxes are still taped shut. That's a perfect garage job for us, because most of it can go straight on the trailer.
Our garage and attic cleanout service covers the attic above it too, if the pull-down stairs are hiding more.
Is there a dump station in Melissa?
There is a landfill in town, run by NTMWD, and Melissa residents get a couple of free drop-off visits each month. The details are on Melissa's landfill page.
The free visits come with conditions. You'll need a recent city water bill and a matching driver's license, and dump trailers and box trucks pay at the gate.
For a whole garage, that can mean several pickup loads and a lost Saturday. We load once, haul it all and you skip the line.
Shop garages on the rural side
Out on Melissa's older acreage, the garage is often a working shop. Rusted tools, old engine parts, scrap metal and decades of coffee cans fill every shelf.
We sort the scrap metal for recycling where we can and load the rest. Gas has to be drained from any mower or engine before it goes.
Heavy, awkward pieces are normal for us. Workbenches, cabinets and old exercise gear come out on dollies, not your back.
How the day runs
Start by texting a few photos from the garage door and from the back wall. You'll get an honest estimate, and the firm price is set on site before anything is loaded.
On the day, move the cars out and walk the space with us. Tape or sticky notes on keepers make it quick, and we set them to one side first.
When the floor is clear, we sweep it down and you pay once you're satisfied. Folks a few exits north can read about garage clear-outs in Anna too.
What has to stay off the trailer
Garages hide the stuff we can't load: wet paint, chemicals, motor oil, tires and ammunition. Set those aside before the crew arrives.
For the leftover cans and bottles, our household hazardous waste guide explains the safer routes. Melissa residents also have a door-side collection option, listed below.

Some of it can, per the City of Melissa's bulk items page. Loose clutter has to be boxed, each box has a size and weight cap, and the monthly load has a volume limit. A packed two-car garage rarely fits in one month's pickup.
We take it boxed or loose, in whatever amount you have, on the day you choose. The Melissa bulk trash and brush pickup guide explains the city schedule if you'd rather spread it out.
The full rundown is in our Melissa bulk trash and brush pickup guide.
Garage Cleanouts in Melissa: questions
How long does a garage cleanout take in Melissa?
A typical two-car garage is usually a few hours of loading. Since Melissa is about 12 minutes from our base in McKinney, we spend that time working, not driving.
Do I have to box everything like the city asks?
No. Boxing is a bulk-day rule. Leave things on the shelves or in loose piles, and we'll load them as they are.
Can you clear the rest of the house too?
Yes. Closets, a spare room or a backyard pile can join the garage on one quote. See our Melissa service area page for everything we handle there.
